We have been obsessing about the question of why we do what we do. Sometimes it’s obvious, and sometimes it takes time to figure out… and honestly define for ourselves. We keep coming back to why we are trying to provide this service. Why, if there is even a reason, do we struggle to learn the tools we are trying to use? We even started to think about why we are riding each time we go out.

It was this question that prompted the picture below. We have lots of reasons for getting out to ride on any given day. Fitness, mental health, social opportunities, a particular work-out prep for an event or race. They all work and sometimes more than one applies. On this ride, we passed a vineyard with a villa at the top of the hill, trying so very hard to look Euro. I decided that one major WHY permeates every ride we do at home, even the boring ones. Every ride is training for the next trip. Simple. That is a motivator for me and I hope it is for you too.
